We offer comprehensive care for patients with long term conditions – this includes

We invite patients, in their birth month, for an annual monitoring appointment with a practice nurse.

Child Development & Immunisation

Appointments can be booked through the surgery for Baby checks.

The British Immunisation Schedule states that all children should receive immunisation to protect against childhood illnesses. Our practice nurses offer a full childhood immunisation service. Cervical Smears

All women aged between 24.5 and 64 years of age are invited for cervical screening.

Women aged between 24.5 and 49 are invited for testing every three years, and women over 50 are invited every five years.

Blood Tests

Appointments for blood tests are available with our nursing team:

Monday to Friday – mornings 8:15 am – 12:20pm

Monday to Thursday – afternoons 2:00pm – 5:30pm

Some blood tests cannot be done in the afternoon.  Please check with reception/nurses when booking afternoon appointments.

Please only book for a blood test when you have been asked to do so by one of our team.

Blood Tests for Hospital Appointments

If the hospital has asked you to have bloods taken for your hospital appointment, please call Swiftqueue on 01283 593 200 to arrange an appointment.

We do not generally do blood tests requested by hospitals unless there is a specific reason for doing so, or if you are having blood tests requested by our doctors and nurses at the same time.
