NHS over £5 million last year?
That could be:
- 800 more hip replacements
- 560 more heart by-pass operations
- 5,600 more cataract operations
- 120 more community nurses
- 720 more knee replacements
We are currently running a campaign to reduce the waste of prescription medicines.
So we need your help:
- Check what medication you already have before re-ordering
- Only tick items you really need
- If you don’t need a medicine now – don’t order it this time. It will still appear on your next repeat re-ordering form
- If you don’t need a medication or you don’t want to take your medication anymore, tell your doctor
- If you have any enquires about your prescription please speak to your GP or your pharmacist
