There is currently a national shortage of bottles used for taking blood tests. This is affecting all GP surgeries, hospitals and community, mental health and ambulance trusts across the country.
Until further notice, only blood tests that are assessed as essential by our doctors and nurses will be able to be booked at the practice. We hope this will be for a short period, but this is dependent on the national supplies increasing.
Patients booked for blood tests that are assessed as non-essential at this time will be contacted and their appointments rescheduled as necessary.
We apologise for this temporary change and hope it will be resolved nationally very soon.
